Does this game work properly on the Steam Deck?

I have this game on steam deck, and I haven't had any issues with saves or controls. There's been a couple of small performance issues, but not anything that has truly ruined or even harmed the experience for me. Hope this helps :)

I bought it to play on steam deck and works excellent. No issues with saves and controls seem fine? You can choose multiple control layout, but I’ve used Xbox so far and no problems.

i played it on steam deck and it crashed my deck so hard i had to turn it off from the button as it became unresponsive. so i've stopped playing the game until the crashes are sorted out

Initially it was problematic, I won't pretend the issues wasn't there to begin with. But now its safe to play on Steamdeck. Lucky you.

Works great on my Steam Deck. The only thing is that I notice some slowdown if I play for more than a couple of hours in a row. When that happens I just save and quit, then re-launch the game. That always fixes it.

The controls are great, although it takes a little time to adjust to 360 degree movement with the control stick versus the 8-direction movement in Stardew. That's just a skill issue for me though. ;)

It was working great until spring of second year when everything was running slow. Closed game, shut down steam deck and it improved, but now I have an issue where I just get a black screen at the end of every day and use the steam menu to close the game and restart. Its annoying to have to exit and re-enter the game every 15 minutes.

Since the last update my save (mostly played on steam deck) does no longer load after 40 hours into the game and it looks like I'm not alone, though I don't know if this is a general issue rather than steam deck specific. (Tried PC & Steam Deck, as well as local saves on the devices)
