Bag Space is there more?

Basically the title, I have the first bag upgrade are there more to purchase? Any way to cycle the tabs better as I am currently playing on steam deck.

There are two bag upgrades but you have to upgrade the general store to unlock the second one. Keep playing and you will get the upgrade quest.

I can't help with steam deck controls.

On controller, clicking in one of the sticks (the right one I think, though I could be wrong) makes you cycle forward through tabs. The controls are also configurable, so through some Steam Input + in-game control config shenanigans you might be able to map both tab switching directions to back paddles

How did you get the first upgrade? I cant do anything without it, the bag is almost full already with just the tools...

The first bag space is on sale at the general store for 1000t (check the different shop categories), but up until that point, save up your money from prizes you get from ranking up Renown (basically anything with a museum check box in its name, save your first one to donate to the museum) and selling extra forage. (Side note: do not sell your water chestnuts, which you get from poking the grass in the river near the museum. They are a time limited valuable resource.)

As for tools, you do not have to carry every single tool with you all the time. You can dump your hoe and watering can at the chest at home. (The shovel too, although you really shouldn't be buying that anyway.) When you set out to gather stuff outside, empty your pockets into the box except for whatever you need for gathering, like bug net and fishing rod, and only take stuff like sword/axe/pick if you are planning to chop wood or go into the mines.

Going to start gathering and saving them, kinda just been passing over them.

Thanks, having to cycle through one to the other was a pain especially during combat

Just upgraded the general store last night before I went to bed so should get another bag I'm guessing today after work when I can hop on.
