Quest: Ship Mine Forageables
I'm having issues with this quest. I need to ship 30 mine forageables. I've shipped 11 foraged items from the mines but I don't show credit for them in the quest tracking. I initially shipped 10 coral from the tide cavern levels, when that didn't get credit I shipped one bug from the level 40 section, still no credit. What am I doing wrong? What am I supposed to ship?

You said "coral from the tide cavern levels", which is something you get by destroying the coral with a sword. I'm talking about like Upper Mines Mushroom, Sweetroot, Sea Grapes, Jade Dulse, and the like, which you literally pluck out of the ground with your bare hands using the interact button.

I think when they say "forageables" they mean the stuff you pluck from the ground with the interact button.

Yes, that's what I tried shipping first. The coral is a plant you get in the mine levels with the interact button.

I will try that. I hope it will work because the quest just says "30 foragables" for the objective, but the flavor text says "rare and unusual underground material", while the quest icon is a shadow flower (which is why I thought the coral would work, I forgot I was hitting it with the sword to collect as I have a metric ton of crap in my inventory for just this kind of quest).

Ok, I shipped some mine mushrooms, sea grapes and earthshrooms and got credit.

i came here to wonder about this -- it is very confusing and unclear. like you get several kinds of mushrooms, but some don't count because you got them in combat? idk if it should have a list or something, but it isn't fun to ship a bunch of things then see it counted 5
