Full game and pricing
Hi! I wanted to ask if we pay to play the early version of the game, once it's out fully do we need to pay for it again if the asking price changes? Thanks! :growingup_gamepad:

No, the trade off for the lower early access price is the ever looming threat of the game being abandoned before it's complete. Once it does complete, however, you don't have to pay more.

ETA: I've bought several early access games and they have all been finished, some take years, though.

Heavens no.
You're locked in at the low price.

Think of it like being a kickstarter backer. And you get a free copy as a reward for investing during the game's development.

No. That's not how buying games in EA work. Anything else would be fraudulent.

Geez, what are you, a lawyer?

In a way, you give money that helps the game be developed, you get to keep the game at a different price than the masses will pay when it launches.
Kinda like kickstarter backers often get to do (depending on the project and how cheap the people running the KS are).

But, in any case, no, the OP will not be paying any further for the game.

I was answering Op's question.

It basically boils down to us paying a lower fee as a thank you for helping them with the debugging and suggestions during early access :)
