Small barn to medium?

When I buy an upgrade to medium barn/hen it only shows to build it again. So what do I do with small barn? Can't I somehow put it on, upgrade it like in other games?

fom did it in a different way..you kept on having to build upgraded barns and remove the old ones..the small barns or coops i just ended up storing them..it's a bit inconvenient since i hv to put the animals in daycare everytime i want to upgrade barns or coops..

you can buy upgraded ones at the carpenter's shop..i think it will unlock once you reached certain skill level but i don't rmmbr..has been awhile since i played this game..

No, you can curently only demolish it or use it for animals.

I just found this out tonight. We upgraded Hayden's buildings in place, It doesn't make sense that we have to rebuild it. My small barn is where I want the building to be. So it is very inconvenient. I hope this is changed in the future.
