Automatic Petter Not Working

I've tried placing it in my large barn and coop. It just refuses to be placed. Any advice?

Send the devs a bug report via their bug report form. I have the same issue. Resetting controls won't solve it. I already tried that

if you built your barn before update, rebuild it.

I got it from somewhere else and yep it's not working...

-If your barn/coop dont have a pedestal for it, rebuild your barn/coop
-You can get it from the blocked cave next to Errol's Cabin, on The Narrows

I see people saying to rebuild the large barn if you have one built before the update which I do, if I remove it while it's full of animals will I lose my animals? I have no where else to place them in the meantime and I'm worried if I send them outside to eat and remove the barn they live in that something bad will happen to my animals... can anyone confirm if it's safe?

You can put your animals into day care at Hayden´s farm while you rebuild

i have updated the game, removed and rebuild my barns. but i still cant place the auto petter
