Some suggestions for QoL improvement and maybe balance changes
First of all, I want to thank the developers for this great game; really looking forward to the upcoming updates.

After playing through about 2 seasons, here are some of my suggestions:
(I play with a controller)

- A slightly wider range (side to side) for 'auto-selecting' tiles to seed/water/hoe would be great for controller users

- A dedicated button to transfer all items that already have the same item from your inventory to chests

- A way to select a number of items to transfer; for example, if I have a stack of 900 stones in a chest, but only need 200 for a quest. If there is a way I haven't found it; currently I need to either take the whole stack (which is fast, but you lose 1 inventory space) or click 200 times.

- Slightly nerf the experience given for smelting bars. My blacksmithing skills level up much faster than my mining skills.

- Slightly increase experience given for catching large/giant fish; or slightly reduce stamina consumed for larger fish.

- Maybe add some 'nets' or other passive fishing method that would also give a little bit of extra fishing experience.

- Some of the 'slime' enemies in the mines take only 1 damage per hit, even with the current strongest sword; either reduce the monster's defense a little, or add some stronger weapons.

- Add steam achievements.

The other things I'd like are things that are already on your roadmap.

Rock Clods and Ore Clods shoot rocks. You are supposed to strike back the rock they shoot. If they are not attacking, you can provoke them by attacking them. The moment they shoot rock, you can instantly damage them.

Blue Rock Clod is annoying bcs they shoot twice.

It does seem like the damage dealt should go up with better weapons though even if just a tiny bit. It would still take longer than the intended method but not be totally unreasonable of 0 gain for a better weapon.
