Coop in future updates?

The Steam page lists it as Single-player.
And there’s currently no indication of co-op or any multiplayer features in their roadmap.

The crafting system and corresponding skills do not support multiplayer. They would have to redo all of that just to facilitate multiplayer.

You can purchase coops and barns fairly early into the first year, and can buy expanded coops and barns after a few town upgrades.
