anyone caught a singing katydid yet...?

I've spent nearly 3 straight seasons trying to catch a singing katydid, spending an enormous amount of time in the Deep Woods, and I have yet to see a single one ;; has anyone actually caught one yet? I see rare bugs in other locations/biomes with much greater frequency ;;

I've gone one full year in the game and I found 1 doing repeated many repeated trips on the same day. It is just really rare.

I just kept loading days and grinded for it. I don't know how many hours it took, but I found 2 Speedy Snails and a Flower Crown (which are legendaries) before finding my first one. Then, I decided to continue grind for another one to give for Luc for a request and found another Flower Crown Beetle before getting that one.

The encounter rate is absurdly low.

Every new critter in the deep woods is proving incredibly hard for me to find. T-T

I've found 4 legendary bugs thus far trying to farm this thing TT_TT tons of other rare bugs, too, yet still no singing katydid. Just gonna cross my fingers and hope one shows up eventually, I guess.

Rarity should be bumped up to legendary if the encounter rate is gonna be so slim folks have to grind for it :\

A full year?? TT_TT I've already found 4 legendary bugs while farming for a single katydid ;; "rare" bugs shouldn't be rarer than legendary...

I caught only one on summer 10 at 10pm and donated it to the museum...i'm halfway through fall now and I'm still looking for another one for Luc's request, this bug is really hard to spawn :c
