How Do I Play on My Phone?!!?

I have an iphone with the Steam app downloaded and set up. I have an HP laptop with Steam also obviously set up. I dont see instructions for how to do this step by step anywhere? Anything helps at this point! New to the game!

I don't think you can stream gameplay from a PC to a mobile device that isn't something like a Steam Deck. The Steam app is mostly for things like buying a game while on the go and having it automatically download to your main device (assuming that device is on and logged into Steam.) That's how, for example, I buy a game or DLC while I'm at work and have it download to my PC so it's there when I get home. I don't expect my phone to actually play PC games.

u can, i play mistria on my phone, use sunshine ( pc ) and moonlight ( phone ) and start the setup, make sure u have a controller... best if you have a telescopic controller, dont use steamlink... it's bad. ( check this vid, https://youtu.be/4QnZCfhgpwo?si=Nczy_8krrI-jOVG7 ), i literally can play anygame on my phone now, even gta v online.. just make sure you're using a wifi or a good internet connection 'cause this thing cost a lot of quota data.

u can if you use streaming app, and works well with telescopic controller

most phone nowadays are pretty much bigger than switch/ lite, playing on phone is very great, if it doesnt really suit your playstyle.... then don't ask why would she want to

But they probably also have a PC, I mean you need a PC to stream it. So I'm just confused why you'd downgrade to a small screen like a phone. I guess for playing in bed? I'm not even saying 'you're stupid for doing this', I just am wondering why you'd want to? The game is so beautiful and you wanna play it on a lil phone?

u answered ur own words, yes many people want to play in bed, acting it as handhel like steamdeck or sum, and my phone is bigger than my switch lite.
