Multiple save files

Really hoping to see multiple save files for multiple runs or multiple players on the same computer, it would be great to have a way that feels safer to make multiple games and not lose progress.
My game I was so focused on breeding all the colors of animals that i'm in like year 3 or 4 and I don't want to lose that work - but I want to be able to go pay more attention to the friday nights and other events

You can have more than one save file! Just start a new game and save, then when you load, you have the choice between the two :)

You sort've can? But its kind of unsafe in a way, the saves just kind of all pile up and can overwrite each other. I've seen some people talking about how their partner starts a save and plays for a while, then the original person's save has just been pushed out and is gone. I just think it would be nice if there was a Save File 1 - and all its daily saves can stack up under that, then a Save File 2 that can't interfere with it

They changed it from the mess it was. but didn't mention it in patch notes so many of us missed it changed. Under continue it now lists saves by farmer, complete with photo. It's nice now, but yeah it did used to be shown by date only which was a mess.

You do still need to delete journal saves manually or will stay forever but bed saves will be one per farmer. It would be nice for them to be nested instead of a list, but it's a lot better than when it launched.
