Caldarus <3

I saw the heart. The hearts are for romance-able characters. Therefore, Caldarus will be romance-able later in the game...and I'm here for it!

My only hope is that we have the option to keep him in his dragon form. Or at the very least, have a dialogue option to ask him to change forms.
I understand that a dragon hanging out in the town square might be startling for the other town residents, so his true form could be reserved for when he's on the player's farm. He can assume a human guise for puttering around the town or interacting with people other than the player.

Look, I won't lie. I love dragons. And it's so incredibly rare for any game to have a friendly dragon let alone a romance candidate! And a masculine dragon at that! Usually it's dragonesses that get the spotlight. And my gay ass is just over the moon about the prospect of Caldarus.
Sun Haven came close to being a truly amazing game to me, if only the dragons were date-able. Alas, I can only hope that Fields of Mistria delivers where Sun Haven disappointed.

Please be kind in the replies. I know not everyone will have the same opinion as me, and that's okay. I just wanted to share my hopes for future updates in this great game!

Both him and the priestess in the mines are suspected to be the secret marriage candidates, yes c: Hopefully we'll see more information on that in the near future.

Though, it is highly likely that he'll reach a point where he takes a human form permanently if the player pursues him. I don't think they'd stick with him staying in his dragon form. Then again, old school farming sims let you marry a kappa at one point, so...
