Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria

Should I wait for 1.0?
Stardew Valley is one of my favorite games, so I might like this too. What is the current state of this game?

There is an EA section on their website that will tell you what the EA version currently contains. I'd say you'll get enough content for the current prize they ask for. (prize will increase once the game goes 1.0)

In the end it's your choice if you want the EA experience or not (crashes, bugs, changes...)

This game definitely is a prize...
The prize that keeps on giving.
Especially at the current price! ;P

Granted.. we don't know what OP's region is and I don't know whether the dev use Steam's regional prizing or not, but for me it 13,79€. That's a good deal for me. Know a lot of games who charge far more for less content.

Worth every dollar. If you love or even like Stardew Valley, just buy this. Its fantastic imo.

It'll depend on you. What there is of the game is great but it's not finished, as is covered in the posted link. So if you're inclined to rush through the story you'll be left waiting for the next update to continue. There is plenty to do though and it's well done.

Of course as great as things are so far you never know with an early access release how things will pan out by the end so you have to be willing to risk something turning bad later. I have high hopes though since it's all so good so far. Long as they stick to it and keep updating it should be great.

Speaking only for myself ofc, having paid $14 USD I absolutely found the current amount of content to be worth the price. I've put in about 90 hours and more or less hit the content wall a while ago, but I still enjoy booting it up and playing a couple days here and there to relax. I look forward to there being even more content in future updates.

I wish I had waited. Still needs QoL updates, but they took 5 years before releasing to early access so I'm expecting slow progress.

be mindful that for many users it is a crash prone game.

Honestly, it's up to you. If you wanna sink hours into a full experience, I would recommend waiting, but if you're willing to deal with the bugs, crashes, heart-caps, etc. I would jump right in. The game is very fun and functional, but it's still very evidently in early access. Like I said, it all depends on your personal feelings, preferences, and playstyle. It's a strong recommend from me, though. :)
