Can anyone help or guide me?

I have 4 hearts on March and the bar isn't moving up anymore. I have looked up what he loves but most of the items he loves are either a pain to get or take ages to find/re not yet an option for me to find just yet. Any ideas on how to increase his bar without the whole birthday gift every year/liked items?

Currently 4 hearts is all there is in E.A, the end or year major update will add a couple more.

Just to add on when they do get 6 hearts max, you can buy a beer for him for only 100t in the bar which he likes and that's what I've been doing mainly :)
