Move farm buildings?

I've moved all the animals out of a barn, cleared the storage chest, and still cannot remove it. Any help appreciated! I was so dumb when I first started placing buildings, really need to fix it XD

Are the animals just outside or are they put into daycare? As long as they're in daycare you can remove the barn without emptying the chest (I know because I did it.)

Make sure you move your animals into Hayden's daycare, then you can remove the building. Thankfully it gives you the building materials back so you don't have to go gathering again for them

WELP I'm dumb. I went up to the note on the front of the barn and underneath "Rename" there's "Remove"
