Literally can not find an upper mine mushroom

I have been looking for a mushroom in the uppermines for the past two in game weeks no lie. I have done the strat where i go to lvl 5 to 10 to 15 on repeat. I have even just constantly went back and forth from 5-10 as people say they find them a lot on lvl 6 but NOTHING! It is driving me nuts!

It's RNG, and looks like it didn't like you...
But quite often venting helps, so - good luck! You've vented already - now the issue should fix itself!

I spent a lot of time in the upper mines finding a mushroom for the quest and then again for farming furniture scrolls and monster materials, they're just really uncommon. I've seen hundreds of upper mine floor screens by now but only a small handful of those mushrooms.

You will find one eventually if you keep looking. The next two seals also require items to break. If it's something that wouldn't bother you, I recommend checking the wiki to see what they are so you can grab them on your way down and hopefully save yourself some time.

I'm on yr 4 and i only ever gotten 3 of these mushrooms..so yeah, pretty rare apparently..not just uncommon at this point..
