2. another row of inventory space. (Ngl. i find it a bit too small even with the upgrade. and half the time exploring the mines and catching bugs fills up the inventory fast.
3. more events for seasons.
4. A Cauldron to brew potions. (since this game has magic, think its a good fit.)
5. Time slider. {A slider to set how long the day lasts.)
2)Bugs!! in!! Terrariums!!
1) More romancable characters, maybe also from among the older villagers
Everyone (rightly!) lobbies for Olric to be added to the list, but also the four vendors from the Saturday Market would be wonderful additions!
I also would love for some of the truly older bachelor(ette)s to be added to the pot. Firstly, age discrimination is an aspect of inclusiveness that is often overlooked in the general inclusiveness debate and secondly, given the rising amount of senior gamers among us, I imagine it to be really nice for them to be able to play 'as themselves' without being forced to rejuvinate themselves into the standard 'up-and-coming-youngster' nearly every RPG has as its premise.
Lastly - the cosmetics, particularly in Stardew Valley, but also here, allow you to assemble really old looking characters, who then still get the possibility to romance people looking like their grandchildren. (Oo) Please think about that. Or don't. I understand both.
2) Rival Heart Events like those from the old Harvest Moon games! I really loved that feature and, let's be honest, there never was anything stressful to that. When you fail to marry your respective favourite NPC by year four with so much help from wikis etc. available, then - start another game and improve your performance. xD Seriously, this adds so much more depth to a place, given that not everyone in the entire town starts to focus their respective life planning entirely on the newly appeared Main Character.
I would also be so excited about whom they would pair with whom. Especially as FoM most officially has Characters with Valen and Juniper whose canon sexuality is lesbian - this could be a real change (and challenge) to creating a matching, overall-fitting gameplay. Maybe Louis from the Saturday Market is an openly gay character we already met, I wonder with whom they would pair him. (^.^)
3) Additional NPCs moving to Mistra over the years
Referencing not only those many remarks like 'I hope you are the first of many to return/move here'. The town could use so many more inhabitants and areas for them to populate. Maybe there could even be some kind of whimsical underground-bobsled way of public transport to connect regions in the future, a bit like those from Disney's Gummi Bears!
It would be great for Adeline's and Eiland's or Rhyis's parents to make (occasional?) appearances, there could be various personal 'threats' to Mistra in the form of demons, dark wizards etc. whom the player could fend off periodically, thereby also making mid- and end-game phases more attractive.
More children NPCs would also be fantastic, especially as it would eventually lead to adding something as vital as a school to Mistria...!
4) Birthday parties for NPCs and the Player at the Sleeping Dragon
There could be an option at the bar to host a party for someone's birthday which spawns a donation box which has to be filled up in time with a certain (or default?!) amount and type of food and party items for a party to be held at the NPC's pre-determined birthday. It would just feel so much more alive and complete!
5) More and better cosmetics for male characters
I think we all have come across the odd person on the internet who has complained about FoM being targeted at (and therefore almost entirely tailored to) the 'standard expectations of women' (whatever those are supposed to be) while 'standard male' characters had an unduly limited playing experience.
While some of these people are clearly trying to cope with personal issues, I have come to find the core of their complaint to be somewhat valid. The range of clothing and hairstyles focusses very heavily on the pink and playful stuff with more 'conventional male aesthetics' appearing quite scarce. Vera and Louis seem to have directed their respective products almost exclusively at female players which is, after all, very likely truly disappointing to some players.
It would also be very nice to have a mechanic similar to the one in Roots of Pacha for example, to choose a "build" for your character upon creation. Given that characters like Hayden, Holt, but also Josephine or Terithia each have very recognisable builds of their own, it would be nice if players could also shape their own figure in a more individual way.
6) A form of massive refrigerator to store all your wonderful food items
Maybe this is a personal problem but I constantly loose track of all my delicious produce. xD As we already have that wonderful global inventory, an unrealistically spacious fridge should not pose too much of a stretch in terms of general realism, huh?
So much for now. People have uttered so many glorious ideas already and I simply cannot wait for the Developers to decide on their next additions! :D
Great thanks to all of them so far, I am so happy to have discovered FoM!
I'd love a way to view the museum collection from my main menu (Esc), to see what I have remaining. For example, to know if I have 1-2 fish left in Spring Ocean or River before the season ends without having to go to the museum.
How about with the grocery store upgrade, Celine had fresh flowers/decor for sale from each season, or a way for us to sell goods at the store itself (delivery bin there after upgrade)?
More spells pls! Loving having those!
