Cooking not leveling up anymore?

I'm currently at level 30 in cooking and just upgraded to the level 3 kitchen and I noticed while making lots of recipes to give as gifts on a Friday at the Inn, I wasn't leveling up anymore while making the dishes. It just shows my character going through the motions with nothing else on screen.
I can sometimes hear the sound as if the meter bar is moving yet I'm still at level 30 after making countless dishes. :(

the current maximum level for all skills is 30. it will be increased with later updates!

Ahhh thank you! I was wondering but wasn't sure. :)

Only noticed this after I got access to a recipe that said it requires cooking lvl 40 to use ( Sushi Platter ). Kind of a shame to have a recipe sitting there and have the ingredients but not be able to make it due to a level cap lower than the required skill level :| But at least I guess it's good to know?

Well in the next big update we'll get our skill max upped to 45 so there's that.

same thing happened to me, really stupid that they let you see all these recipes and then cap your level before you can make any of them. Why? I wasted tons of time gathering ingredients 🙄
