GAH! I just wish there's an easier way to locate rare insects much like legendary fishing

I totally feel this - I got my Flower Crown Beetle today while trying to look for the Orchid Mantis (which I still don't find yet). It was windy/sunny weather for me when I found the Flower Crown Beetle and it was near the light house on the beach. Good luck! o7

On my side orchid mantis is a bit too common and I accidentally got the Flower Crown beetle on the first friday of spring LMAO before I completely restarted the farm

Aww man! I swear this game has random generated luck for each save file or something. I seen other people have more luck for certain bugs than others. But hopefully you can grab another Flower Crown Beetle - my luck was similar with the bug I was hunting too (it loaded near the exit and I got too close).

However, I finally just got my Orchid Mantis just 5 minutes ago on Sweetwater Farm! So my hunt is over. I am wishing you all the luck to find your Flower Crown Beetle!

Honestly I just look for whatever season or weather for the insects and just walk in and out of my house on the farm until it spawns. If you are all the way out on zoom you will see one sometimes to each side of your farm. (this just being insects that can spawn anywhere)
