How many animals do you guys keep?

I was originally planning on having one of each animal color and type... until I unlocked more than just cows and chickens and realized that that would be an absurd number of animals and would require like half my farm to be covered in medium sized barns/coops and an expensive amount of feed. has anyone else managed to do this or do you just stick to only a few favorites? are you just waiting until large barns are added?

I did, though i had to sell just each animal that has the same color with the male. for example; I'd choose a spotted male cow then, i dont have a female of that color. and I put them all in 2 medium barns and 3 medium coops. have excess of 2 spot left in each barns or coops. Grazing them out killed the grass on the field. so i just occasionally let them graze. Strangely though, not everyday they would eat from the feeder. but you can always hand feed them and the shiny beads is useful.
