label planted crops/fruit trees?

how do we find out what crops/trees were planted in the field? i wish hovering the cursor over them would give the relevant info :(

In my experience most games don't have this function unless you install mods. You can buy recipes to make signs with the image of the crop and stick right next to it or try to identity the seed/growing plant

Good idea. When I pick up something I want to know what its called etc...I have to drop it in a box first and then it shows info. I think the devs will change that. Hovering the cursor over products to find out what it is is a common thing in games if its nessecary. So, I think its an early acces thing.

i really hope so! i also wish they'd let us see info of an item from the hotbar directly as well, instead of having to open the inventory every time : (
