files corrupted after installing mods

ive tried to install some mods from nexus but apparently since the last update, the mods arent working and corrupted my files, i cant launch the game bc it says "missing game executable", ive already tried verifying the integrity of the game files, alr tried reinstalling it. im going insane, idk what to do anymore. i just hope i didnt lose the game forever

It's caused by your antivirus blocking the the newly edited file. It get's flagged as a trojan due to how it hooks in to mod the game.

Just tell it to ignore the threat and it should work fine.

Also if you're too worried about getting hacked or some such nonsense you can also just run the mod installer again and hit uninstall all. That should also fix the issue.

at the time i just had windows defender working, idk what to do because i cant solve it. tks for replying btw
