FARM ANIMALS HELP PLS

How the heck do I milk my cows and I bought the cute little cowboy hats for my cows and I can't figure out how to get the cow to wear it. HELP

Once the cows are adults they will automatically drop milk inside the barn in the morning. I hope we get an autofeeder or larger food trays because I can't be bothered to refill it up.

Also about the cute hat, they can only wear items when they are adults. You can add accessories from the main menu, animal tab section where you see their names, and heart/affection for you.
