Upper mines mushroom

Where would you find an upper mines mushroom?

You just have to find them growing on the ground in the upper mine levels. You might have to reload areas to get one to spawn.

I've got a red one (is it the one or do you mean the different variety?) - dropped from mushroom monster.

I broke a crate on the 6th floor of the upper mine and it dropped.

I would recommend going to the quick access floors (5, 10 and 15, assuming that you're going for the task from level 20), glance around for any free growing on the ground, break any crates or barrels easily accessible to see if one drops, then return to the ground floor. Rinse and repeat. It's a tedious hunt, but it only took me about 5 in game days with that method (and I definitely did more than just hunt for that elusive mushroom in those 5 days lol).
