Butterfly

I never saw the common yellow butterfly that you can donate in spring. I saw rare and legendary insects, but I never once saw the butterfly. Am I the only one that had this issue?

I've been having the same issue - it's the last Spring insect I need. I'm on Spring 24 of Year 2 and still haven't seen it ):

I saw it once on a farm, but I didn't catch it because I was entering a building... I haven't seen it since.
