Deep Woods

Is there a way to unlock the deep woods sooner or is this a late game unlock? I unlocked the summit so do they have something similar happen at a certain point in the story?

Which is the deep woods? I don't think I've reached that yet. But those areas blocked off by giant rocks, you just have to upgrade your pick and mine it yourself.

It's eastern road. After break big stone with copper pickaxe there is exit in deep woods , but it's blocked with many vines.

I also can't say for sure. I'm just finishing Summer, have done several story-related upgrades, and haven't seen anything prompting opening that area. I'm assuming it's later game content than where I'm at.

It's also likely that it's a zone they are still building and have not put in the game yet. A sort of "COMING SOON" teaser if you will.

Could be it's coming later but have you tried an upgraded ax on the vines?
