Game Randomly Crashes

Its happened twice to me now, but the game just randomly crashes? Like I clicked on the elevator to go down into the mines and it froze, then booted me out of the game. which was sad since I lost all my progress in that day :(

this is the only bug ive come across tho, so :)

I didn't have any problems with this in Spring, but it has happened twice since I started Summer. Only bug I've also encountered so far.

Yeah I'm in summer right now, I was replaying the day and it happened again... its like summer 5th or something

having random crashes as well at different times, I can't seem to figure out what triggers it.

I haven't had straight-up crashes but my game froze at least twice in 4 hours of playtime today. I had to close the game window through the windows taskbar.

Mine just did it to me, too! I was chopping up wood to clear out my farming area. The game froze, popped up with an error, and told me it needs to shut down.

Same here!! I'm in spring right now and it randomly keeps crashing out on me saying random files aren't found? I just got crashed out of the spring festival. I'm also not sure what triggers it, is this a bug??

If it thinks files are missing it could be your malware/anti-virus. It's a common issue with games. Make sure the game it's self are allowed under the programs controls. You may need to quarantine the file or reinstall.

Yeah i'm thinking this may be the issue but I went through and checked to see if anyone else had this issue and it seems a few other players have. I'm able to play the game regularly and I have around 7 hours logged so far but this just started happening maybe a couple hours ago. They all said it didn't crash until they progressed in the game more, I might try reinstalling but losing my progress won't be great. :(

I didnt even get as far, i am in my second week on a friday and had a crash around 3h in with a pop up that a file for fish (i fished that day) caused some kind of crash and all progress was gone. now (next day) i booted up the game hyper aware it could crash, it crashed just 20min when at the saturday market. :((( i love this game already but replaying every day 2-3 times is kind of not what im going for

Same thing happened to me! As soon as my first Summer rolled around the game starts to lag sometimes with a crash every other day. This can be quite frustrating because it's randomness makes it harder to deduct what exactly makes it crash, but I do know that Summer increased the amount of crashes!

Just had my first crash, too, 8th of Summer. I was in the mines at the time and took the elevator down to the 40th floor. Didn't get any error message at all however, it just crashed. I can't seem to find any crashlog either. Guess those aren't generated by default? I imagine that makes reports like these hard to reproduce.

Replaying the day now and keeping my fingers crossed that this time it won't crash again..

was on like spring 7, looked away to talk to someone after having the game opened for 10 mins, and when i looked back it almost immediately crashed for the first time lol

Same here. No problem in Spring. Had 2 crashes in Summer during long CG at the end of the day.....which is really annoying.

Crashed on Spring 4... on steam deck not sure if that made any difference to it crashing earlier than others

I refunded the game because of this. It crashed on the second day for me. I hadn't saved and lost 20 minutes of progress. A game with this type of issue should not have been released let alone charging money to play it. I don't get all the hype and raving reviews for it.
