Got to setting - display and Disable V-Sync from the game, change the resolution from Fullscreen to windowed mode and change the resolution to a lower one (like 1280x720 or lower, then lower the in-game scale and see if that makes the game run faster (move around the game). After that go to Display again and just change the game to Fullscreen and change the scale to 3x.
Hope it also works for you :3
Your save file creates a giant line for each individual item, so if you have a stack of 999 items, that's 999 lines of code. If you have many stacks, that's many giant piles of code in your save file. Selling them off may reduce lag by just reducing the size of your save file.
Also as others have said, play in windowed mode. Make sure you are resetting the game client sometimes (save the game, close the game client, reopen it) because the memory seems a little leaky. I would reset the game client, at least, every few hours of gameplay.
Yes, also did this but minus the lower res... am in winter now and less lag.
I just want to hoard items so that when full game is ready, I'm ready hahaha. I think I have 5 full chests inside the house. lmao
happy to hear that!! ur welcome :D
Go into settings, select "Borderless" resolution, save and close the game. Reopen, switch to "Fullscreen" lag should vanish immediately even on rainy days. I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but I haven't had lag since!
This tip solved the issue for me! Thank you!
i added in Nvidia Systemsettings the game at the "3D Setting" tab and changed:
Triple-Buffer: On
Energymanagment: Max Power
Pre-Rendered Pictures: 2
(i think the setting is also affecting non-VR Games)
since i changed that and also the Game-Option Windows Setting to Max-Performance, the game is running super smooth with 60frames on my potato machine.
(i miss my, i9 and 3060ti at home, but its only for 1-2 weeks sometimes! xD)
When it lags i have some strange clearing issues as well, where most of the screen shows a 250ms old picture and when i move the mouse a 300x300pixel area arround the mouse shows a not-lagging real-time picture of the game..
Probably some optimization in the engine, which should theoretically not re-draw non updated areas, but wrongly identifies everything on screen as "up to date" or something like that.
