Game won't launch

Just installed it and the game won't launch.
Every time I try I get a "Win32 function failed: HRESULT: 0x887a0005"

Never had this problem with any other game. I have an Intel driver and already tried everything I could fing in the internet to fix it. I even installed a hole new grafic driver and the game won't launch.

I have:
Reinstalled the game
Run the game as admin
Deactivate steam overlay
Download a new grafic driver

No! I'm trying to get in contact with the developers to see what can be done

Its very odd, cause I never had any problem with other games.
I play Stardew Valley, Little Witch in the Woods, Spiritfarer, even The Sims in this laptop and thay all run without a problem, so I think my laptop should have no problem with this game.

Hi ! Could you tell me when you'll get to join the devs please ? I'm trying to since 24h, I can't get in contact with them, I have the same issue without the error message, and I play the same games as you on a laptop too !

Hi :) I just had a similar issue, if not the same. I was able to get the game to launch by clearing some storage space (old computer, constantly low on storage lol), but I was not able to start a new game. Then I tried looking around for more possible things to try, whereafter I closed some of my... overlays? (overwolf and curseforge). Now I was able to start new game :) not sure how far it will work, am like 2 seconds into the start, but had to share the news in case it can help lol

I have 23 GB free, feels like enough, but idk :(

Also having this issue. Just happened today all of a sudden and now I cannot launch the game no matter what I do.

I've found a youtube video to help you launch the game, tried everything and it still didn't work, so I know the problem doesn't come from my pc (I have updated Windows, and I have a lot of storage too), so I'm just waiting for the devs to work on a patch, but I've seen a lot of people here and on twitter saying that the devs are ghosting ppl who are complaining

Hi again, they responded on twitter, saying that they're working on a patch, we just have to be patient even tho its difficult

Has there been any updates with this yet? I know its only been a couple of days but I am late to the party, bought and downloaded today and haven't managed to play anything yet. I have done the usual of off & back on, updates including windows & graphics cards, I've followed the tutorials about overlays//running as an administrator and so on so forth. Getting super frustrated now. Just wondering if there's been any updates! thank you for the help!

patch due this week, the last update to the devs main branch was updated 3 days ago so i guess theyre just testing bugs then going to release it to the public
