Great game, but the Music is terrible

This game is amazing. It improves on stardew valley in a lot of ways. It's got a great art style and I love the anime flavor. Each activity is fun as well and the pacing so far is good (~16 hours in).

But the music. The music is just really bad. It sounds like elevator music from the 90s, played in midi form. And elevator music is better these days.

Devs, you should scout for someone who is better for the music. The music is dragging down an otherwise great experience.

That makes one of us. I absolutely love the music, it really connects well with the overall 90s SNES/Genesis theme. The visuals, music, and even choices like the typeface (instantly familiar to anyone who played the old KOEI management games like Aerobiz and Uncharted Waters; it's the same font) just scream "welcome to 30 years ago, but with modern conveniences for 2024."

I was in high school 30 years ago (about a week from now will be the 30th anniversary of the first day of my senior year, in fact.) So I'm absolutely in love with their wholehearted embrace of the nostalgia.

Nah, the music is amazing..there is one that was playing during one of juniper's heart event that i love so much but not sure how to find it.. it's so good, it somehow fits with mistria as this magical place..

I loved all the music except the fall theme, which was a bit too bouncy for the season imo. But honestly, yeah, overall the music has been fantastic. Sorry you didn't like it though.

When I first booted up the game, the music didn't play on my computer for some reason, and I was so sad, I thought there was no music. When I rebooted it and the music played, I smiled so much- I *love* this soundtrack.

Maybe not everything can always be for everyone - I remember Harvest Moon: MFoMT music would sometimes begin to grate on my nerves even though I love that soundtrack, too. I would say that so far, and I'm only 15 hours in, I haven't been annoyed by the music yet.

Yeah the music sucks, it revolves around basic chords and arrangements from SNES JRPGs without any fresh melodies and a soulless soundfont. I hope it's only temp and they can get someone else to compose or at least arrange (you can reproduce the 90s rpg style and be very creative like the Mother 4 soundtrack).

I really like the music, I was delighted when I got to fall and the music got all peppy and upbeat! I do wish it looped better though, the fall music peters off very abruptly for me.
I will fully admit to being biased though, it does remind me of my old game-boy games and gets fondness points for that x)

I really love the music, it's fantastic and fits the game! Especially the tracks in the mines are great but loved all the seasonal themes and really having a hard time thinking of a track that I thought wasn't that great. My only gripe is that there are just a few tracks for each season and would like to have more variety for the Winter season because those tracks are very similar to each other.
I've played over 60 hours and haven't been annoyed by the music at any point, I think they did a great job. I really hope they won't remove any music from the game since I've already grown very fond of some of these tracks.
