Help/bug - Can't cast spell

I want to cast a spell (I am at 0 energy and want to cast full restore) , but am unable to, even when holding the key down. I have the spell pinned, full mana, and the C key mapped to spell casting (as default), and my current inventory slot is empty. The spell in the bottom right is also missing the c key icon, even though it is mapped in settings.
Anyone know a fix?

Do you have enough mana? Try holding down the C key instead of just pressing it once.

I do, I have full mana.

Happening to me as well. It has worked before just fine but now the shortcut key isn't showing up above the spell. Going into the settings and changing the shortcut doesn't work either. Restarting doesn't work either. Giving myself 11 stamina doesn't fix it either. Hope they fix it soon. I have enough mana for the spell.

Maybe you need at least 1 energy to cast a spell. Probably shouldn't but I can see how there could be a coding issue that would make it so it thinks you need 1 energy to perform the action.

I figured out why I couldn't cast the spell. I mistakenly thought the mana potion bottle symbol next to the actual mana counted as having 1 mana. I drank a mana potion and was able to cast it.

Hey, so I am having the same problem after the update. Did you figure how to fix this? My C key doesn't appear either, and I already tried rebinding it.

They already commented what the issue was. The issue was they did not have any mana and the UI is not as clear about that as it could be. The first thing showing mana is the mana symbol, then there are 3 dots of actual mana. The symbol is just a symbol, not part of the bar.

No, that is not the problem I'm having. I have enough mana, but no matter which spell I choose, the key C just doesn't appear. So I'm unable to cast any spells.

I am having the same issue. My Full Restore spell has been mapped to the C key and been working perfectly the entire time I've been playing the game. I've just gained the Growth spell and mapped it via the settings, but the spell doesn't have the C key against it in the bottom right of my screen, so nothing happens when I hold C down to use it. The same with my Summon Rain spell.
I can re-map Full Restore, though, and it carries on working with the C key showing above it.

I can't even re-bind it. Doesn't matter, it still doesn't show the key and doesn't cast the spell. I am very disappointed because I opened up a complaint on the site and they still haven't responded me.

Just ran into this bug on 3/17/25 about a week after the Caldarus update. I fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

(I play on controller.) Does anything else in the game require the C key, whether it's listed in the key binding settings or not?

I know I've had some issues with setting my controls to something that would seem fine, but it doesn't always work.
