Super Slow Character Movement

Hi! I find my character moving really slow, especially on rainy days. Sort of a lag kind of slow. I'm not toggling walk and the fastest I move is when I am in my home. Is this happening to anyone else? Is there a solution?

Accessability menu - weather particle effect low or none. Try to do this.

I'm having a similar issue, I tried changing the particle effect setting and it did nothing.

happens to me sometimes too, usually exiting and reopening fixes it. If your pc is on battery saver that might be the cause too.

Happens to me quite often, I open and close the map with M and it goes back to normal

my friend had this issue and she switched the display settings from borderless to fullscreen and it was resolved

my game just lags all the time no matter what settings i fumble with, i changed weather particles and even set the app to run "on high performance mode" as the devs suggest but that actually made the lag worse instead of improving. i hope there will be a FPS improvement soon!!

I've seen some people suggest that turning V-Sync off helps a little and while I saw *some* improvement, it still happens enough to the point where I can't really ignore it.

Mine does the same thing but not just on the rainy days, it's all the time. Why is a game this small chugging on my pc.

I have the same issue! It used to happen when i had a stream running in the background but now it happens when there's nothing else running on my PC...my character runs in slow motion from lag and all of a sudden it'll go back to normal for a bit and then slow down again...it seems to help it when i zoom in and out from the game but i have to do it constantly and its frustrating...a game like this shouldn't be so hard to run smoothly...unless it's still not optimised properly? It's not only on rainy days btw....this is ALL the time
