Fields of Mistria

Fields of Mistria

Some minor issues/suggestions!
This is just a compilation of notes I've made so far:

-Maybe there could be a way to sort insects and fish by season in our almanac? This would give me a better idea of what I'm missing and when I need to be on the lookout for it.

-Do animals eat at a certain time of day? I just got a chicken, and she doesn't seem to eat the small animal feed I've left in the trough. I've had to hand feed her on rainy days, which can be a bit of a pill depending on what I'm doing.

-Some pretty bad lagging on Saturdays (in town), even after most of the townsfolk have gone back home. The entire Mistria map has my character walking slowly, but every other map section is fine.

-There is a certain room in the mines in which the left side cannot be accessed by jumping across a chasm. I can't seem to find a tile that works; the chasms are just too wide.

-There are a couple of foraging items that did not appear at all for me in the entirety of spring or summer. Fiddlehead and sage never spawned anywhere; I had to buy them from the cart.

-Adding gates to the fences would be cool; I want to keep weeds out of my crop areas, but jumping over the fence breaks immersion slightly.

-I know a lot of people seem to dislike fishing minigames, but I quite like them. Maybe one that can be toggled on and off? (I know nothing about programming, forgive me if that is an unreasonable idea!)

That's all for now! I like this game so far, and I appreciate the hard work the devs are putting into it. There are some quality of life ideas implemented that really impress me (ie; having event announcements at the start of each day, allowing for a chest to be broken even if it has items inside).

I noticed jumping off any edge can sometimes not work. It's very iffy and needs some work.

I've also noticed that bugs and certain foragables (and one fish in the mines) are impossible to get. Some are listed as common too. I'm missing one fish from the upper mines and I've spent about an entire in game month looking for. Honestly, bug catching seems useless except for the museum. It'd be nice if we had some kind of terrarium or some reason to keep catching them.

Weeds will grow on the edges of some tiles. If you place a fence or a path, it will still grow at the edge which is super annoying. I do love that you can jump, but I agree gates would be more aesthetically pleasing.

I prefer the easier fishing. I always mod Stardew with an easier fishing mod. What I hate is that the fish that spawn often are out of range, making me reload an area for new fish.

I rarely buy things from the cart unless I really need to. The economy seems a bit messed up, as things are WAY too expensive. I had to buy horse hair for a quest and it cost me over twice the amount of the reward. Makes zero sense.

Animals eat at 10am, I believe! If you try to feed them after that, they won't accept it. If they have food in their feeder, you'll occasionally get a notification that your ranching skill has increased at 10am, and that's because they just ate. Hope that helps!

You need to jump across those places at an angle.
