I've also noticed that bugs and certain foragables (and one fish in the mines) are impossible to get. Some are listed as common too. I'm missing one fish from the upper mines and I've spent about an entire in game month looking for. Honestly, bug catching seems useless except for the museum. It'd be nice if we had some kind of terrarium or some reason to keep catching them.
Weeds will grow on the edges of some tiles. If you place a fence or a path, it will still grow at the edge which is super annoying. I do love that you can jump, but I agree gates would be more aesthetically pleasing.
I prefer the easier fishing. I always mod Stardew with an easier fishing mod. What I hate is that the fish that spawn often are out of range, making me reload an area for new fish.
I rarely buy things from the cart unless I really need to. The economy seems a bit messed up, as things are WAY too expensive. I had to buy horse hair for a quest and it cost me over twice the amount of the reward. Makes zero sense.
