Blacksmithing (just making ingots raises this up quickly)
Mining
Ranching (though I need to recall to get the animals within their barns before going to sleep)
Cooking (though making sure I have the right ingredients is tough. I do like gathering recipes though)
Fishing (much easier than Stardew Valley and trying to get specific fish gives lots of opportunity for practice)
Combat (more from less opportunity than difficulty, and how hard it can be to aim)
Farming (It's always the area I least focus on in game, ironically for a farm sim I know. But I much prefer the mining, socializing, request filling, museum bundle filling, and exploring)
Woodcrafting (I also struggle with this because I'm saving the wood for all the projects around town and have little inclination to create stuff I don't need. I'm not a major decorator)
Same. That and stone paths to get to lvl 15. It's just there are things I'd rather be doing than cutting down trees multiple days in a row that is making getting to lvl 30 a very low priority.
Woodworking is the only skill where I barely use anything related to it. (Which is unfortunate because getting the bonus resource perks earlier in my playthrough would have made completing the town renovation quests less grind-y.)
Since there are so many things to do in games like this, I think it's normal to not engage much with one or more branches. I tend to ignore the social aspect in games like this until I've explored everything else and don't do any of the dating stuff.
I didn't feel much urge to decorate until I got the house upgrade. Before I got the house upgrade though I wanted to unlock thinks with quests. If the perks of the skill weren't so useful, I would have left things at lvl5.
