No Birthday Celebrations?

So It was my birthday in the game. I'm used to Harvest Moon or Rune Factory where they usually send a letter with cake and townsfolk have a unique happy birthday dialogue. I was excited to see what would happen and was expecting something like that. But there was absolutely NOTHING? There wasn't any acknowledgement or letter, no cutscene, nothing. IDK it felt kind of weird to me. Like why ask for my birthday if there's no reaction from the game. My birthday landed on a friday, so maybe the Friday Night Tavern function negated any birthday celebration?
Curious about y'alls experience, I know its a kinda lame complaint lol. WHy ArENt ThE GamE CHarAcTErs WiSHing mE A HaPPy birThDay??? But if its a bug I would like to know

They should change it so at least one or two of the nice older people you can't date give you a card at least. That would happen in a small town. Someone, especially an older person, would want to make the new person feel welcome.

Or you could get a free drink or food item at the inn if you go in on your birthday. Like some restaurants will give you a free desert if it's your birthday. You could get a mail saying come in for a free drink since it's your birthday.

Lmao this literally just happened to me and I was searching to see if it was some kind of fluke or bug. 🥺 I've made it a point to celebrate and gift everyone who has had a birthday here. 😭 Damn.... silly game hurtin' muh feefeez....

Not anyone - just singles/bachelor(et)s/datable characters.
The rest of the town jsut ignores it...
Still - getting 10 letters with foods attached was nice.
But - game is in EA, maybe it will change...

It would be nice that for the characters birthday that there could be a little cake in the inn you could interact with to trigger a party. Maybe on NPC birthdays you could gather ingredients and do a party for the NPCs birthday to give a heartboost by throwing them a surprise party.

I agree I was disappointed there wasn't anything going on, especially since everyone always seems to know what's happening with the adventurer around town. But, like someone already said, hopefully that'll change when it's out of EA or sooner.

I feel like it should be Adeline and Eiland since they're the reason you moved in. Like the first year is a more formal letter then after that it gets personal.

That could work too. They could even mention others will gift you too once they warm up to you.

I haven't received any of these letters even though I have six hearts with multiple single characters. So it sounds like this is a bug.

My birthday is in February so I put my birthday in winter, which gave me enough time to make friends enough to get gifts.
