Fields of Mistria

Is it just me or the demo is very laggy?
Loving the art and the music so far, but for the gameplay the movements are too slow, and sometimes feel a little bit clunky (the same goes for the cutscene moments). Is it just me?

I thought it was just because my laptop's specs just barely reach the minimum. It would even freeze, in places, and in the rain and flower petal showers it was really, REALLY slow. Are you telling me it would've lagged, anyway?

I just finished the demo and had no problem with the movements and it did not freeze or lag, so it could be a specs problem?

My laptop is ROG (built for gaming), and still has a lot of memory left. With my previous steam acc, I used to play games like Yakuza & Rune Factory 5 in PC but it works just fine? For this game, it didn't freeze, but the movements are so slow?

Yea, i have a 1660Ti and 12 gb RAM and everytime i walk or try to use tools, everything it's really slow.
I tried turning off V-sync, but it fix the problems just for a moment

Okay, i tried to change and the screen display. If you change it to 'Fullscreen' it should fix for a moment(If you happen to change map, the game lags again)

If you alt-tab, the games lags, you'll have to alt-tab to fix the problem, this also fixes the lag problem when you change maps or cut some grass.

The running animation makes it feel so weird and “laggy” to me even though it’s not. It’s not a run/walk, the character steps and like gallops then steps again. It looks and feels weird. I hope they fix it

Having the same problem playing on the Rog Ally. The stuttering and freezing is odd in game like this that I know the Ally should be able to run at 60fps at 10 watts. Which is does until it starts freezing and dropping frames randomly.

Weird. I don’t have that issue on my ROG - but I also drastically upgraded the storage.

Game lags really badly for me too. Runs at around 28-38 frames despite me being way over the specs. It slows the game down to about half speed too, which makes walking anywhere really difficult. My specs are:
- 16 GB RAM
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10510U CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.30 GHz
- 64 bit OS, x64 bit processor too
- Running windows 10

Not sure what the issue is. I tried windowed and fullscreen + turning off vsync but nothing helped

Was having similar lag issue. Setting the game to "high priority" in task manager fixed it for me, but I still find the slowdowns weird for this game. Feels like most setups should be able to run it fine.

In the rain I am having serious problems with slowdowns, going from 60 down to 40fps in fullscreen.

I have a 8700k at 5.0Ghz, an RTX 2070 and 32gb mem at 3200mhz. Is there a way to force the game to use more gpu power or cpu power or something because of the slowdowns?
