Suggestion: Time Flow Adjustment
First I want to say that this looks like it's going to be fun. I played the demo and enjoyed it I just have a suggestion. I don't enjoy Stardew Valley as much as others because I feel too stressed out over how short the days are. I find that I enjoy Sunhaven a lot more because I can adjust how long a day is verses real time from as short as 20 minutes to as long as 40 minutes. This removes the stress element for me and lets me play a nice cozy game without worrying about how fast time is passing in game. I absolutely love the aesthetics of the game and I want to love the game but being stressed over how fast time passes really kills the game for me. Please add an adjust to be able to lengthen or shorten the day.

I agree with this! being able to adjust time flow in game (and maybe other related things) would be very nice!

Same! I want my days to be longer! I don't like how quick it goes, barely can do anything and it stresses me out.

i agree, the time felt like it was going by so fast for each day & i would barely make it back to my house!

Agree. I ike to take my time and go talk to people, but when days are so short, I end up doing chores and not doing the social part. I like the game, and I love it aestetics, but the days are a little too short for my tastes...
I agree as well! I was enjoying the game, but felt like I didn't have enough time to do things! A manual adjustment to the days would be nice! Or even something like Ikonei Island where it goes to night and you're a bit limited to what you can do while it's nice, but time stays frozen there, allowing you to finish up whatever you need to before the end of the day (such as planting those last few crops or putting things up for sale).

Alternatively, hard cap daily actions with a tighter stamina economy. Talking to someone for the first time each day costs 1 stamina and generates 1 affection, tilling a tile costs 1 stamina, etc. Make it difficult or expensive to restore stamina and then when the character is at 0, it hits nightfall and you get the option to be teleported home. Littlewood did something kind of similar to this but it could be refined and tightened. For me, it wouldn't feel so bad if I knew I was getting to do all that I could with my resources. Also, it could make meals important - once per day you could eat a meal and get a stamina and stat boost based on the meal eaten.

Just some thoughts, I'm sure this game is going to succeed either way.

I completely agree! The length of the day was very stressing. I felt like I didn't have time to explode the whole demo with how quick the days went by. I was also surprised how little time I spent on one play thru because it felt like I was playing longer than I really did.

Being able to adjust the length of the day like you can on Sun Haven would be a nice addition.

I agree, the length of the day is too short. Would be nice to be able to manually adjust this or let it progress depending on the amount of stamina spent or something like that.

I understand not being able to talk to everyone every day, but I felt like I didn't get much done.
