General protection fault??

Has anyone gotten a general protection fault with this game? I launch it and it crashed in like 10 seconds with an error message. Im running it on windows 7.

Not yet, Steam told me to delete all my fioders except for Steam Apps folder and Steam exe, but that still didnt work :( I dont know if I need to wait for an update for the game...

Sucks bad!!! I dont want to have to wait for an update. Maybe I should mail developers directly...

Still broken here too. I've reinstalled four times. The only fixes I know of are editing the UserSettings.ini ( I think it's in the /src directory of the game) so that the Runvalidation=False instead of true, or deleting and renaming systemdetection.dll - both of which did precisely jack squat for me.

I tried that too zzrzinn, also didnt work for me. PHAIL. :( I wonder if I can direct the developers to this thread. Ill see what I can do.

I have for the past 7 days been in contact with Ubisoft Technical Support via e-mail.
So far none of the solutions they came up with worked for me. I still keep getting the same error over and over... The solutions have been different, anything from registry, installing drivers, updating drivers, disk De-fragmentation, disk cleanup, checking my memory for error, these are just amongst many other things I've done. Nothing seems to be working. =/ If any one solves this problem I would be glad to know. Funny thing is that it works on my friends crappy computer with the same OS.
