disturbing content?

I´ve read some about this game and watched a bit of gameplay. It seems to be very interesting.
What could keep me from getting it is too much/intense disturbing content.
Do you see hanged people, torture and stuff like that?
How often and how intense is the disturbing stuff in this game?

I mean this game definitely has some people hanged/dead bodies around, and also some implied things like r*pe(you can stop this though). The game is set in a post apocalyptic world. Its somewhat expected things aren't going great.

Thanks. This sounds like hanged bodies would be about the worst you see explicitly on screen (not to say that isn´t disturbing).

Yeah, its more about showing the grim world that's left over. Not so much excessively gory or disturbing. Definitely depressing though.

add cannibalism, and "strange meat". I would say its close to the "Book of Eli" movie in terms of rating

I haven´t watched that movie.
So cannibalism is a theme, but is it frequent and on display?

no, only implied, as in fallout i would say. Some thugs also could mentioned that you would do for a snack, and you can save some people and a cannibals corner can see "the meat", but the level of detalization isnt that disturbing. its rather imagination thing

It's possible they even removed the hanging person from this game based on this discussion, although that level of censorship is just lame and ridiculous to me.
