Its to be expected with Windows 10. That said go to the exe file of the game and try run in compatiability mode for windows 7.

I'm guessing that youre running on win 10. What I did was run it in compatability mode for windows 7 and then try to run it once. After doing that i restarted my pc and ran it again with compatability mode on. Try that if you havent fixed it or if its just the game freaking out since its the first run on your pc.

Now something is different as of today. Now an error pops up in the compatibility mode. i will try a restart and see if that makes the error to go away.

Works on Win10_64 Pro. At first start it popped the warning 'incompatible OS'. After exiting
and restarting the game works without a problem.
i7 4970K@4.4GHz, 16 GB RAM, MSI R9 390X 8GB, Resolution 3840x2160@60Hz min fps 45

Doesn't work on WIn10/ 64bit. Warning appears, then the title screen appears but the mouse is uncontrollable with a reacion of about 1 minute. Win7 compatibility mode does not work.

I get weird lag in Win 10 64bit. Oddly enough it looks to be some sort of timing thing because I have the fps setting switched on in the Steam client and the counter alternates between exactly 59 and 1, just those two numbers back and forth as if the game renders perfectly for a half second and then lags completely for the next half second.

Game was fine with my Phenom II but has gone potty since I upgraded to a Ryzen, it's as though the developers never anticipated more than 6 cores.
