Boat barrel minigame bug

In this minigame the game doesn't respond to any command. The result are 4 boats stuck in a corner of the screen or the lost of the game if the enemies manage to fire their barrels.

I have the same issue. Game version 1.1 on Linux.
Essentially, I'm stuck at this point :-(

I've got the same problem. I can't get past that level. The game just freezes and no boat is moving.

Same problem! I hate the stupid checkpoint system, why do i have to start the whole level over to s(t)uck it again?

It seems the game cant be completed. The first time I lost the boat minigame, the game did not reset. The next day I spent a little time in the party mode to make sure I can win it.
I won it, the game still does not continue.

Did anybody finish this game in this current version?

I have a workaround. (For Windows)
Exit the game.
Open in explorer:

%HOMEPATH%/AppData/LocalLow/TrinityTeam/SnB2

Open in a texteditor:

GAMECONFIG.txt

(Maybe do a backup before you change it.)
Look for the line that starts with:

<Level ID="LVL10_CUBA"

Look in this line for

unlocked="false"

Change false to true.
Save the file.
Start the game.
Now you can select the level after the one we got stuck.

For the record, playing local co-op with controllers, streaming to TV. Was getting incredibly frustrated with aiming during the minigame (it worked normally), then I made the mistake of attempting on keyboard and mouse. Soon as I touched 'em, the boats went in the corner and froze.

Restarting wanted me to repeat that cursed military base level.

I have the same issue on linux too. I got hit 1 time and the game is stuck. Does not restart automatically and no option to do it manually :( Just wanted to finish this game. Is there any solution on linux?

Likely the same as for windows, you just need to find that file.

The issue #10 is still there:
- one hit to disable my boat
- last boat alive wanders endlessly; I am stuck, no restart => have to exit to menu and start the whole Military Base location again
- happens only in story mode (everything works great in party games)

Should we still wait for it to be checked/fixed?
Or the only way is to edit config and allow the next location?

The Bug has existed since 2023. You will be waiting a long time for a fix. Better edit the config.
