Can i get a game in standard that isnt running 20 removal spells and 8 sweepers? Thanks
I know Im beating a dead horse here but im actually sickened by the games Im getting in Standard. Is it satisfying to play this way? THousands of possibilites, but you want to run the same removal over and over.

Build a deck with no creatures... problem solved.

you'd probably hate the decks that have little to no interaction even more because you'll just get combo killed for tapping out on turn 5. Which fwiw is why you see people play so much removal in the first place.

removal is essential for any type of competitive play.

So OP are you playing mono red, mono blue or mono black? Board wipes are absolutely justified vs mono red jank

tfw you play four different standard decks (GW, RW, G, UB) and each oppenent is running removal tribal. we have one more year of this before finally we get a rotation. Whoopee, removal tribal will lose one 4-of a card in a year! Rejoice!

Arena is absolutely insufferable. Its not like this at my kitchen table nor my local game store.

Play a different format. My sincere recommendation if Standard irks. I don't find it so but I play most of the available formats and switch around fairly often.

The fact that you only have 4 possible decks is a deeper issue. I recommend experimenting with cards you would not ordinarily play with and see how that goes. Also is your sole goal to win? This may be a hard to achieve expectation if you are just starting out.

And though I believe the above you are not wrong about the extra year between rotations. I can't wait for the older sets to spin out and be replaced by a different experience. Though it is likely with the incoming sets we will more of the same to some degree. Murders for example will likely be a vampire heavy set.

Very true. Magics greatest strength imo is the amount of different formats you can play that are all pretty different from each other for a variety of reasons. Arena doesn't really allow this unfortunately. Commander as much as they say they can't add 3+ player games, that isn't even the only popular format people enjoy. Pauper would be a great way for new players to participate as well. How difficult could it be to limit decks to only commons? Don't answer that

learning to play around removal and counters is a skill you need to work on.

Standards power creep is strong rn. If you run a creature deck maybe slot in some protection cards to stop your opp from deleting all your creates. With board wipes you need to play around that dont over commit.

Running permanents not worth removing is clutch in the current arena meta, all formats.
