Mono Red Aggro
From now on no matter how much work it is. If you abuse mono red no skill needed, you get a report ticket. Since Wizard doesnt test ♥♥♥♥ ever and give no ♥♥♥♥ about balance MAYBE they pay attention then if the get the according feedback. Losing turn 2 without even the chance for counterplay is not balanced nor fun.

No they can not (in standard). Generally speaking, most formats are designed around the earliest win con by turn 4, with some small exceptions. RDW is almost never that exception.

They can in standard if they have the right, and you have the wrong cards. If you haven`t had that pleasure yet good for you. Having less experience doesn`t mean YOU know what happened in MY Game.

What combination of cards made you lose turn 2?

I'm just taking a shot in the dark, the kobold that puts a dragon on the field.

Well guess it can`t be helped. Ignorance is bliss for the simple minded. No one forces you to believe anything.

Came to discussion board after looking for ideas having started playing 2 days ago. Saw this salt, went red mono, already up to platinum in ranked alchemy. Cry less and delete your post, less people might see this and think it's a good idea to use it ;)

Anyway... it requires either really aggressive or super conservative play, with no absolutely no in between, and it's very easy to counter and lock out with the right set - same way it's easy to win with against people who don't have any counter to shut it down.

I can see why it might be considered easy to play with, but it's also super easy to win against too.

I believe it's considered "easy" because their's color challenges at the start that show you what to do with RDW. This is something A LOT of other combos could use, proper story-based matches to teach you how to perform and counter said combos, Master Duels if only one thing, they did the solo play right in assuming new players would be coming and needing to learn, it teaches you have to play ANY deck, where as Arena is teaching you have to use the interface really, expecting you to have already been a long time paper player.

It's also easy because, well, it's easy. Generally speaking, all spells are 1 or 2 mana cost, all spells are either creatures or instant-speed spells (instants or flash) so you don't have to think about sequencing sorcery-speed spells.

My point was more along the lines of any deck could be easier if they actually bothered to teach the new people.
