Scry decks.....
Only selfish ♥♥♥♥♥ run this crap. I still cannot believe they thought anyone would like sitting around and watching some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scry 3 10 different times in a turn. They never should have built legendaries around this gimmick because of how much time is wasted when you could just tutor the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ card. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell, BANDING would have been better to build a legendary around than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scrying

Banding's an actual cool mechanic. You make your creatures easier to block and in exchange you choose how blockers deal damage instead of their controller.

Lots of people actually like scrying. Temples were very popular in Theros standard. And it gives you information when your op makes a decision to top or bottom a card. Maybe not very useful information but it is something. I can see why on ARENA, scrying might be irritating to the impatient (I still don't mind it) but your impatience is a "you" problem, not a "them" problem.

Also banding was great. WOTC didn't like it because 3 people complained about "banding with lands:".

Gotta say scrying's a new one for my "stuff people hate in MTG" bingo card. Usually it's 3-5 threads a week about control, toxic, Sheoldred/Obliterator, or RDW.

If you're lucky an opponent's scry choices can tell you when the best time to play a mill card is.

Or what to hold a counter/removal for. Or whether to play out your hand (to avoid a sweeper blowing it out.)

How is scry annoying it takes a few seconds and all it does is let you know/slightly influence what your opponent draws.

I actually like scry, because it reduces random chance variation and lets decks play at their best.

The complaint is against opponents playing scry cards apparently.
