This game pisses me off
So not your usually ♥♥♥♥ talking post… this game pisses me off and I will be the first to admit it. I see a lot of flaws with the game that could be made better.

So instead of getting pissed at people playing a lot of the same decks.. I told my self will stop playing to win and start playing to troll. Make decks that are fun to play but don’t expect to win.

Built a blue/black discard mill deck specifically designed to exiled opponents hands and milling their library while taking their ♥♥♥♥ lol. I guess my whole point of this post is if you’re annoyed at people running the same decks…. Drag out games as long as possible and make them hate every sec lol.

Gotta find you own enjoyment with it I guess. But I noticed a lot of people quit once you start taking their hands

I think a lot of weak players think this way. Keep telling yourself this is why you are slow LMFAO @ all the skill deprived noobs that rage rope elite players.

Roping and trolling both go against the ToS, playing meta decks does not. I hope you find getting banned to be fun, because that's the path you're headed down.

How am I breaking the tos using cards to slow the game down by milling, and discarding their hands? I don’t rope at all. I play my hands faster than they do most of the time. So if playing MTG gets me banned o well lol

Again how is this roping using cards that MTGA provided us?.. discard and mill decks whole ass purpose is to slow the game. It’s called control for a reason lol. I guess it takes a lot of skill using 3rd party software to build draft picks and importing decks my bad lol
Lol okay loser. Stay bad I guess, it's funny that you think other people experience the game in the same kind of nerd rage that you do. If I run into mill or discard, I play my match and move on. It's no different from when I face a metadeck, mono red, or control. Win or lose I'm going to GG you and go next. Do you sit on your end of the screen thinking the other person cares about what you are doing? "Oh they must be so mad right now heheheh" If that little role play power fantasy makes the game more enjoyable for you then have at.

Also, what are you crying about? Historic Mill can win on turn 4. If you enjoy playing discard and mill like you say you do then more power to you.

I did say that in terms of drawing the game out with discards lol the hell how does that mean roping. I hate when people sit there for 5 minutes and don’t do anything. Exactly another ♥♥♥♥♥ I have about this game lol.. control decks whole purpose is slowing the game down. If you get banned for that then wizards hates their own game lol

All that I hear is that the OP thinks they're trolling, but they're instead playing a valid deck strategy.

The trolling is building troll decks was my point. I said just gotta find you own pleasure in the game I guess. I don’t build decks to compete anymore. Just straight control.

You paid alot of money for the game, so they set you up to win. They put you up against people who haven't paid money, then they structure the card draws so you win and they get mad, making them more likely to spend money on the game. You don't have skill, you have a wallet.

In this game everyone is playing Mythic tier decks almost in every tier and many times in unranked as well, this is the reason why someone loses a lot and has nothing to do with money. You can make a good deck even using commons and uncommons, I had 50 commons to spare and made a deck that can win by turn 3.
Yeah, around 35 specific commons and uncommons usually in sets of 4 which you got by either paying money for wildcards, or by no-lifing the game for months, neither of which any casual player is going to do. And 'can win by turn 3' doesn't mean 'will always win by turn 3.' Statistically, any deck like that is going to get stomped way more than it wins by any of the top meta decks. Cause if everyone could make pauper decks that consistently beat everything else, rares and mythics wouldn't have any value.

Also you don't need skill to play this game, there is no deck that needs skill. What you need is to know how tens of hundreds of cards are working together and what starting hands are no good.

If you think for a moment that Wizards is going to miss the opportunity to try and make money, you're either naive or crazy. Arena is a video game, based on a card game, where all the other monetization solutions from other video games are just as viable. The Arena devs know that engagement and retention for normal gameplay peaks at a 50% winrate and that lower win rates cause spikes in player spending, and rewarding customers that pay money creates long term customers that spend regularly. It's the same for every other videogame that monetizes, making it any other way loses Wizards money.
Think about it. There are thousands and thousands of concurrent players at all times of day, yet even during peak hours, it regularly takes more than a minute to find a match? How does that make sense if it's just randomized? It doesn't, unless the matchmaker has parameters it's trying to meet. Wizards controls everything in Arena to make money, from matchmaking even to card draw.

Trying to get rid of ignorant takes by countering with facts is like trying to put out fires with cooking oil. :(
BEEN Apr 14, 2024 @ 10:48pm
Just play the world souls deck. That will annoy 90% of the people you play against.
