error updating data???

hi guys, i was just posting to see if anyone else had this issue because of the new update right now. currently, mtg arena will not open on pc or mobile for me, and continues to give me an error message.

"error
error updating data:
please check your connection and try again."

i've done multiple things with my router, uninstalling and reinstalling, and to no avail, this same error message has come up. i want to note that arena was fine before this tarkir update, but now suddenly will not let me play.

does someone have this same issue or maybe a solution? i'm not entirely sure what to do.

No idea if this will help but try verifying your files since you are on steam and sometimes the launch files of games on Steam get corrupted. If that doesn't work try reinstalling.

Do you have a Baldur's Gate commander Historic Brawl deck? If you do, then wait for them to fix it. You can't do anything on your side, it's a Wizards issue.

Lots of people are having this issue. I have been locked out since the newest patch. anyways here is the response wizards sent me.

That does explain it for me though, I do have a deck meeting those criteria. Glad they have an idea what the issue is.

so i got it working finally somehow?? no idea tbh. i haven't logged on since the hints of the new set (although i need to) but last i got it working was roughly a few weeks ago thankfully? i'm assuming it was something to do with the baldur's gate commander stuff like previously mentioned.

i hope everyone who had an issue who commented was able to get it sorted..!

The problem fixed itself without me having to do anything, maybe it had something to do with my ISP having problems communicating with the MTG Arena servers.
