PSA: this game is a scam
they promote they use a random shuffler but when the game first released they openly lied about hand smoothing saying it was not in the game only to later come out and say "its only hand smoothing to help players have good interactions, its for YOUR benefit" which is classic gaslighting.

the shuffler is broken and if your a ftp player then the game actively messes with the mana distribution in your deck.

if you pay money then the more smooth your card draws become, I experimented over the course of multiple days to compile data and video footage showing how mana will be clumped to free players vs a premium players experience.

if your someone who likes to throw money at their problems then play away, but don't cry and wonder why this games dying because the devs are greedy pathetic con artists trying to scam people and force sales.

the best thing to do is report mtg arena for bait and switch fraud

I bet that if you build a bad deck and go premium you will see people getting mana screwd way too often and add some cards to see their hand full of mana :D Others would scoop on mulligan probably

Arena is a casino, and the house always wins.

So you're gonna shows us this bombshell data, or...?

100% feels like this is true. I dont believe its just happenstance anymore. The sheer amount of times things line up perfectly so I am screwed is astounding and doesnt resemble the Tabletop experience that truly feels random.

Play 10 games FTP then play 10 games payed, I've done it many times.. after paying I get the best draws that in simmers down and after a while they'll just 2 land you the whole time.

I don't know how bad they've programmed the algoritm but I have many land fetchers and other treasure tokens cards and I just get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bricks that only work after 4mana+

Some guys made a spreadsheet with the whole math behind it.

this game is tainted by the devs.

It's probably not rigged, it's just confirmation bias. IE you notice when you get unlucky but not when you get really lucky, like you don't know if your opponents deck has 4 of some card that would've let them win but they didn't draw it.

Well if it was rigged, since you are playing PvP only in this game (outside tutorial and sparky for testing) that would mean that it could be rigged in your favor, statistically 50% of the time.

I just definitely noticed winning games I have no business winning. If you lose a few in a row you're basically guaranteed to win one. Just have to facepalm and say sorry GG when you draw your best draw for 3 turns while your oppo floods with 3 straight lands so you can make that epic comeback. just feels dirty instead of fun though.

Winning scripted games and losing scripted games both suck imo. The way the draws go many game
decisions, playstyle, and skill don't really matter.

It's not scripted or rigged, just because you lose some and win some doesn't make it scripted or rigged or anything.
