They're enemies. Just remember that. The company is run by enemies of our people.
problem?

:yoba:
As someone who has read NUMEROUS publications of LoTR I can say the art is noticeably better than a lot of the art work commissioned for the books, I've also seen "dark skinned" depictions of characters to bad water-paint art with blurry faces. This whole problem is stemming from "letters from tolkien" conflicting with actual canon story lore, he wrote:

The Númenóreans of Gondor were proud, peculiar, and archaic, and I think are best pictured in (say) Egyptian terms. In many ways they resembled ‘Egyptians’ – the love of, and power to construct, the gigantic and massive. And in their great interest in ancestry and in tombs. (But not of course in 'theology’ : in which respect they were Hebraic and even more puritan…) I think the crown of Gondor (the S. Kingdom) was very tall, like that of Egypt, but with wings attached, not set straight back but at an angle. The N. Kingdom had only a diadem the difference between the N. and S. kingdoms of Egypt.

This is 100% the "lore" the artist took to seriously trying to come off as a big fan of Tolkien when in reality they just made it obvious that their just haphazardly reading pieces of Tolkien's work with having any actual knowledge of the world's lore.

Just unlock some alternative artworks if it bothers you that much. Some are better than the original, some are cool, some are not.

I aint reading all that. LOTR is being misrepresented by the card art. Thats all. Its about an agenda.

I'm not arguing against your point I'm with you lol, I'm just pointing out the one small thing, not even from the books but from Letters From J.R.R. Tolkien that they -the artist- took out of context trying to come across like this avid lore fan, but they really knew nothing, I still think the art is nice in respect to the non-scenic art in the books.

Then I'll presume you understand my comments about them being our enemies as well.

enemies? as in folks that try to make your life worse? they provide a free service here how is that bad? if you genuinely don't like it or don't want to play it's as simple as not playing - no one is forcing you to play mtga

Yes. Enemies. As in folks that attack my people's identity to try and erase my people and destroy them. You bet. Is this news to you or? Nothing else you said is relevant. Next question or do you get it now?

You understand perfectly well what they're doing and why they're doing it.
Imagine getting offended to the degree of hysteria because fantasy-made characters are not white.
