My win condition versus a certain counter last carddeck
I had etali versus life gain deck and it was last card. I can't end them with infect if im out of cards. Shuffler forces toxic outcomes

So people get to top deck wincons and mine for this match is literal last card. WTF!!

They're not related phenomena. Any given card has a 1:60 shot at being on the bottom. This time it was Etali, which sucks for you. Next time it'll be some random land or something. Nothing was "forced" here.

Its something though. A sense of unfairness, frustration and exasperation

No question it's frustrating. Hope your next game goes better.

Trust this game isnt honest enough to let it tilt you. It took me a long while to fight my autism on that.

The connection between being frustrated and unfairness is often perceptual rather than actual. That said, there are ways to keep that from happening again. Run cards that shuffle your deck. Run tutors. Run cards that shuffle back into your deck if they are put into the graveyard, etc.
