F2p games especially draw some toxic people into them because they are generally less moderated because if they are from a big studio they are low on the totem pole. I remember Battlefield Heroes back in the day and that game had like zero bannings or moderation. I have played f2p games since before they were really even a thing starting with promoted mods like Insurgency for source which eventually became an actual game.
I loved the last Ixlan, there was tons of fun stuff in that, but also some very rage inducing stuff like explore/discover and some of the mana ramping is just a pain. It seems like the current standard is just too convoluted or arse-holeish like hare apparent decks. They need to do some real brainstorming to make MTG more diverse.
I would only add the deck cutting mechanic in to let the community know they are putting work into the game, outside of adding new sets, emotes or daily store items. And to also elevate any more growing concerns into deck manipulation algorithms. But I'm just some schmuck on the internet.
